    • Abstract:
The article explain the role of the platelet rich plasma (PRP) treatment on the recovery of rodeo horse Buffalo Hunter. Buffalo Hunter suffered a ripped hoof wall that tore its left front limb due to an accident while the horse and his rider and owner, Colby Lovell, competed at an Open roping contest in March 2011. PRP treated the torn limb with injected special platelets that were extracted from the blood, where the progression of the treatment can be tracked using a nerve block or ultrasound.
