    • Abstract:
The article offers information on the novel "Süß von Trimberg," by Friedrich Torberg which was published in 1972. It says that the book deals with the Minnesänger, a famous mediaeval Jewish, which has been persuaded to be the last in German-Jewish letters. It states that the novel has been intended to serve as a memorial to the ending of German-Jewish cultural symbiosis. It notes that the Minnesänger book has been active in Franconia, Germany during the late 13th Century and has been preserved in the form of 12 poems which were included in Codex Manesse. Moreover, author Dietrich Gerhardt points that Süß is a very common name among the German Jews in the Middle Ages.
