      "This article focuses on the editorial trajectory of the novelist Eduardo Zamacois who, thanks to very innovative business approaches and to the construction of a solid network of alliances with prominent unorthodox writers and intellectuals, promotes – inside and outside of our borders – a series of editorial businesses of great value in the road toward the consolidation of mass culture. In this article some of the smaller companies founded by Zamacois are studied, many of them today forgotten, which, together with his two most successful products: “El Cuento Semanal”(1907) and “Los Contemporáneos”(1909), complete his great literary and cultural project.       Este trabajo se centra en la trayectoria editorial del novelista Eduardo Zamacois quien, gracias a planteamientos mercantiles muy novedosos y a la construcción de una sólida red de alianzas con destacados escritores e intelectuales heterodoxos, promueve—dentro y fuera de nuestras fronteras—una serie de empresas editoriales de gran valor en el camino hacia la consolidación de la cultura de masas. En este artículo se estudian algunas de las empresas menores fundadas por Zamacois, muchas de ellas hoy olvidadas, que, junto a sus dos productos de mayor éxito: "El Cuento Semanal" (1907) y "Los Contemporáneos" (1909), completan su gran proyecto cultural y literario.
