The book 'Florence Nightingale: People Who Made a Difference,' talks about the life of Florence Nightingale, the founder of modern nursing. Nightingale was born in Italy on May 12, 1820. She studied nursing in Kaiserwerth, Germany, and Paris, France. During the Crimean War between Great Britain and Russia, she served in the hospitals of Turkey and tended the dying soldiers. Soldiers called her 'The Lady with the Lamp.'
