      The article discusses the aspects of the new ethylene propylene diene elastomers (EPDM elastomers). It says that EPDM rubber compounds are widely used in many automotive and industrial hose products including under-the-hood hoses, belts and brake components, which take advantage of their outstanding thermal and oxidative stability. Moreover, EPDM rubber can be compounded to attain the broad range of tensile strength and durometer needed in the application segment.
