How to avoid food wastage? European Parliament's response.

The aim of this article is to introduce the issue of food wastage. The author presents statistical data concerning this problem, causes of the growing food waste and solutions to combat this negative phenomenon. The special attention is given to the resolution recently adopted by the European Parliament, which calls on the member states and other parties to take measures in order to limit the food wastage and raise the awareness of this problem among the public.
