      The article provides healthcare facility designs to support aging acute care patients with the shift of U.S. baby boomers to senior citizens. A stressful experience for seniors at a hospital is reportedly navigation such as finding the right entrance. It is recommended that the view to directional signages is clear for vehicles and pedestrians. Oval-shaped hand and lean rails and resting points every 50 feet reportedly give support for physical and cognitive functions diminished due to stress.
