- Abstract:
The author discusses aspects of the singing of psalms, or poems that are intended to be sung. The author mentions his first experience with the psalms in worship in a small, rural church in Texas, and his experience of singing the psalms at a Presbyterian Church Music Conference in Montreat, North Carolina in the late 1970s. The author also says that a well-chosen and well-sung psalm is a meaningful and significant part of the worship experience.
