- Abstract: The article presents a case study, conducted in 2005-2006, of the institutional reasons for the neglect of transfer students in a university, including the impact of institutional structures, personal factors, and environmental factors. Topics include the study's methodological use of organizational theory, and the impact of university orientations on transfer students' experience, as well as the university's focus on first-time, full-time students.
