      An interview with Monsignor John Kozar, president of the Catholic Near East Welfare Association (CNEWA), is presented. He states that he was overwhelmed with the legacy which has been passed to him by Monsignor Robert Stern who has led CNEWA for 25 years. He says that CNEWA reflects an extension of the Holy Father as well as outreach to Oriental Catholics and Oriental brothers and sisters in the Orthodox church. He relates that he has traveled in Jordan, Lebanon, and Israel in December 2011.
