      REMES--Carol, (June 22, 1921 - March 14, 2012). An English professor at Fashion Institute of Technology for many years, Carol loved the arts and letters, philosophy and language, and social and political thought. She is survived by a loving family--her sister, Ruth Levine; her children, David and Emily Remes; her daughter-in-law, Naomi Remes and her son-in-law, Craig Stewart; and her grandchildren, Katie and Nick Stewart and Betsy and Sarah Remes.
