      The article discusses the relation between biodiversity an health. It is noted that the number of different kinds of plants and animals that live in a given area is biodiversity. It is mentioned that the class of drugs called statins were first discovered in the 1970s by researchers from Japan and England. Researcher David Newman suggests that starting with compounds that are known to be biologically active is a better way to make the technology work.
