- Abstract:
The author focuses on the adjuvant therapy for gastric cancer. The author says that in Asian countreis, D2 is the standard surgical procedure for gastric cancer while D1 is used in non-Asian countries as the most common surgical procedure. The author also says that one issue of adjuvant therapy is adherence and safety in which 10% of patients withdrew from therapy because of untoward conditions while 20% refused the treatment, and 33% withdrew from treatment with capecitabine and oxaliplatin.
