- Abstract:
The article reports on imaging technology being developed by a team led by scientist Deirdre Meldrum at the Biodesign Institute at Arizona State University (ASU) which may allow for earlier and more accurate diagnosis of breast cancer. The imaging technology, which allows researchers to see three-dimensional moving images of cells using an instrument called Cell-CT, is described along with changes in cells which can indicate the presence of cancer.
