      The article focuses on the result of the study entitled "Assessment of Conservation Practices on Cultivated Cropland in the Chesapeake Bay Region" from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA). It states that the study helped to identify opportunities for further reductions of sediment and nutrient losses from agriculture. It says that the most significant conservation concern on cultivated cropland in the watershed include leaching and overland flow.
