- Abstract:
The article presents information on an Australian aboriginal man named Tambo recruited on Barnum and Bailey's famous circus between 1880-90 in Queensland. His mummified body was found in Cleveland, Ohio in 1993. He was recruited among others for the Barnum and Bailey's circus to perform for the crowds by dancing, singing and throwing boomerangs. The group travelled from U.S. to Europe and Russia. After the death of Tambo, his corpse was taken away and embalmed for display.
