- Abstract:
The article discusses why the agricultural sector in Great Britain is facing tougher times. According to Richard King of consultant Andersons, British farmers have been absorbing four billion pounds in extra costs since 2007. King believes that the sterling will strengthen in the next few months which could affect farm profits. Meanwhile, consultant Oliver Lee says that international grain prices may have their peak and are now beginning to weaken.
