- Abstract:
The article offers scientific information about certain plants and animals. Owlet moths, with 35,000 known species, are able to increase their body temperatures by flexing their wing muscles during flight. The cactus wren commonly forages on the ground and is able to get water from the seeds and the fruits of cactus that they consume. Fireberry hawthorn produces mini apple-like fruits that are favored by deer, bears, rodents, bluebirds and other animals.
