      The article looks at the issue of text complexity in U.S. schools and its impact on the learning capabilities of students. This problem occurs when students are having difficulty in reading and understanding textbooks in one or more subjects due to their various vocabulary, writing styles, and background knowledge. Text complexity is determined through qualitative analysis based on language clarity, quantitative analysis based on readability, and matching reader to the text.
