      The article discusses the need for terminology databases in the field of technical communication. The use of terminology databases for native and foreign languages is tackled. Terminology databases help to improve the quality of communications of a company and offer cost savings as well. Also discussed are the two main steps to create a terminology database, namely, organization and research.
