    • Abstract:
Against the background of the present debate concerning the significance to be attributed to the universal activity of the Spirit, this article studits the use of Wisdom 1,7, in which the omn4n'esence of the Third Person of the Blessed Trinity is affirmed. In this first part, three fundamental contexts are eramined, in which this verse is brought up, from the Fathers to the twelfth century: The defence of homoousia, the theology of creation and the analysis of the interior action of the Spirit in the human heart.
