- Abstract:
The article discusses Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, incumbent Liberian Presidential candidate and winner of a 2011 Nobel Peace Prize. The former official of the World Bank financial institution and the United Nations global parliament is running against Charles Brumskine and Winston Tubman. Criticisms of her administration are noted including her 2005 campaign promise to run only once, her installation of three of her sons to senior positions, and her former support of war criminal Charles Taylor.
