- Abstract: Konstantin Rončevskis (1875-1935), prominent sculptor and architectural historian, left deep traces in Latvian art and science of architecture. His life and work was connected the Riga Polytechnic Institute of Architecture Chapter (1899-1905, 1913-1918), the Latvian University Faculty of Architecture (1921-1935), and the Latvian Academy of Art (1921-1935). Architectural history given their RPI Professor Johann Koch. His teachers of sculpture were French sculptors Jean-Antoine Injalbert and Jean- Auguste Dampt. Deeply affected him the time, the sculptors Auguste Rodin and Paolo Trubeckojs. K.Rončevskis reproduced remarkable Latvian culture, art and portraits of public figures. He works of art kept in the Latvian National Art Museum, the Latvian University and the Latvian Academy of Art. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
- Abstract: Kopsavilkums. Konstantīns Rončevskis (1875-1935), ievērojamais tēlnieks un arhitektūras vēsturnieks, atstājis dziļas pēdas Latvijas mākslā un arhitektūras zinātnē. Viņa dzīve un darbs bija saistīts ar Rīgas Politehniskā institūta Arhitektūras nodaļu (1899-1905, 1913-1918), Latvijas Universitātes Arhitektūras fakultāti (1921-1935) un Latvijas Mākslas akadēmiju (1921-1935). Arhitektūras vēsturē viņu ievadīja RPI profesors Johans Kohs. Viņa skolotāji tēlniecībā bija franču skulptori Žans Antuāns Enžalbērs un Žans Ogists Dans. Dziļi viņu iespaidojuši tā laika ievērojamie tēlnieki Ogists Rodēns un Paolo Trubeckojs. K.Rončevskis atveidojis ievērojamu latviešu kultūras, mākslas un sabiedrisko darbinieku portretus. Viņa mākslas darbi glabājas Latvijas Nacionālajā mākslas muzejā, Latvijas Universitātē un Latvijas Mākslas akadēmijā. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
