Intestinal motility disorders in neurologic diseases.

The gastrointestinal motility disorders represent a cluster of conditions frequently neglected by the practitioners. Failing to think to them may lead to erroneous therapeutic decisions and even to unnecessary surgical interventions. Recently a consensus classification of motility disorders due to neuropathies was published. This review is presenting the new classification and put emphasis on the practical aspects of management. Tulburările de motilitate gastrointestinală reprezintă un capitol de patologie neglijat de mulți practicieni. Lipsa gândirii la acest grup de boli duce la decizii terapeutice eronate şi chiar la intervenții chirurgicale inutile. Recent a apărut o clasificare a tulburărilor de motilitate gastrointestinale cauzate de neuropatii. Acest referat prezintă noua clasificare şi insistă asupra aspectelor practice de conduită.
