      The article presents the story of Nicolas Lanza, whose mother was killed in the attack on the World Trade Center in New York City on September 11, 2001. At the time Nicholas was only seven years old. Soon after the attack a documentary was made about him by the television network HBO, but following that his life began a downward spiral. Nicholas relates the spiritual awakening he had attending a church camp the summer before beginning high school and how that helped him deal with grief.
