    • Abstract:
the article features the eight-legged, aquatic and microscopic animals called tardigrades. It contends that these animals are found everywhere, living in the dampness of moss, lichen and leaf litters, in soil and water areas. They are allegedly usable for teaching principles in life science. Description of its anatomy and physiology is offered, citing their similarities to larger animals such as the alimentary canal and the digestive system. It also examines the survival mechanism of tardigrades under extreme cold and hot conditions.
