    • Abstract:
The article presents a discussion on a case of a 15-year-old girl with a rash and a 2-day history of fever. The patient was subjected to several tests, including the tuberculosis (TB) skin test, purified protein derivative (PPD) test, and a chest x-ray (CXR), and referred to the TB clinic. She was subsequently diagnosed with the drug rash with eosinophilia and systemic symptoms (DRESS) syndrome, and treated with topical corticosteroids and atarax which resolved her symptoms.
