    • Abstract:
The article looks the RoboBee, a foam robotic bee attached to a computer which can mimic the waggle dance used in bee communication. Tim Landgraf of the Free University of Berlin in Germany analyzed high-speed video of real waggle dances, which many apiologists believe is used to communicate the location of food sources, and then used RoboBee to direct real bees to a food source. Biologist Christoph Grüter says that the experiment indicates the complexity of bee communication.
