      The article presents the author's response to comments made on an article about the labor history in Germany. He emphasized that it was gratifying that a person is well versed in topic. However, the origins of codetermination in terms of critical discussion should be re-examined. German trade union leaders in 1945 started to imitate the German Labor Front and hoped to play the role of a national Labor Front. The history of industrial unions is structured from the Nazi ideology. After the defeat of Nazis in 1945, the DAF was dissolved.
