The Fishnet Fallacy.

The article focuses on the book "Fast Girls: Teenage Tribes and the Myth of the Slut," by Emily White. This book sets out to look at the central dilemmas of the slut label. White spoke to or corresponded with more than 150 women who had been sluts of their school and she also spent a couple of weeks observing in a Seattle-area public high school. She offers cultural criticism as well as a digest of psychological, sociological and post-structuralist theory pertinent to the subject. The book explores the relationship between the slut label and a girl's actual sex life.
