      The article discusses the corn-soy blend food-aid developed by Charles Onwulata in the Dairy Processing and Products Research Unit at the ARS Eastern Regional Research Center (ERRC), in Wyndmoor, Pennsylvania. The instant corn-soy blend (ICSB) replaces the usual corn-soy blends as part of food ration because the latter can spoil easily. The ICSB can be eaten fully cooked after being stirred in sanitized, potable drinking water. Background of how Onwulata discovered the technology is explained.
