    • Abstract:
The article focuses on a survey of adult circumcision performed at Churchill Hospital in Oxford, England in 1975 and 1976. Among the key indications for adult circumcision are fibrosis of the prepucial orifice, inadequate hygiene and pain. Results showed that phimosis and short frenulum were the most common cause of adult circumcision at the hospital. Also noted is the fact that male dyspareunia is an uncommon indication for the procedure.
