      In this article the author shares his views on a report concerning cultural cannibalism that showed an evidence of raiding and warfare in a paleoeconomic system 800,000 years ago. He notes the occurrence of raids of each hunter-gatherers camp sites for the purpose of obtaining human flesh. He also asserts the need to consider the possibility that the origin of war lies in cannibalism.
