      The article discusses the bankability index of suppliers' products and technologies for utility-scale photovoltaics (PV). The author explains that a decreased cost of capital should be given to projects built with technologies from lower-risk suppliers. He adds that the main factors in the bankability index are financial strength and stability. He suggests for leading inverter suppliers to focus on improving the performance of their technology and to continue internationalization.
