- Abstract:
The article presents a study which examines the background of which the job analysis method of the U.S. Air Force is developed. The study explores and gives information on the different job analysis methods including questionnaire, check list, and individual interview. It mentions that the job analysis metho used by the Air Force combines the features of check list with open-ended questionnaire and observation interview. It adds that the Air Force uses information based from job descriptions, standards of job training, and other sources to create its preliminary task inventory. It mentions the feasibility of the Air Force method saying that most of the stage is reached when the problem is identified and defined.
