- Abstract:
Trihexyphenidyl, commonly used in neurological and psychiatric practice may be used by certain patients for its euphoriant and hallucinogenic effects. Apart from producing symptoms suggestive of a toxic psychosis due to overdosage, its chronic use may produce dependence. Two cases of Trihexyphenidyl abuse are described. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
