    • Abstract:
The article presents research on the use of grafting with maleic anhydride by different methods for the improvement of the thermal stability of polyhydroxybutyrates (PHB). The methods used in the study included differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) and gel permeation chromotography (GPC). The use of methods showed that the grafting method could the affect the crystallization rate, crystallinity and thermal stability of PHB.
