      The article looks at politics in Cyprus in 2004. A list is presented of members of Prime Minister Mehmet Ali Talat's cabinet, including Minister of Finance Ahmet Uzun, Minister of the Interior Özkan Murat, and Minister of National Education and Culture Erbil Akbil. The author offers a chart on the results of a referendum on Cyprus as a member of the European Union held on April 24, 2004. The results of the elections to the European Parliament held on June 13, 2004, are also reviewed, comparing the number of seats held by political parties such as the Democratic Party, United Central Democratic Union, and the Popular Socialist Movement.
