    • Abstract:
Tang Qiu is a famous scholar in the Qing Dynasty who made great contributions to the editing of the literature of the Jin Dynasty. But he had made great mistakes when compiling the annals of the Jinyangqiu by Sun Sheng, to which many historical materials from the Xujinyangqiu by Tan Daoying were included. The reason lies in that the Xujinyangqiu was also named Jinyangqiu from the Tang Dynasty, when books such as the Beitangshuchao listed the historical materials from the Xujinyangqiu under the title of the Jinyangqiu without mentioning the author. Since Sun Sheng's Jinyangqiu is quite famous, later scholars mistook all the books title Jinyangqiu as authored by him, which was the origin of the mistakes of Tang Qiu. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
