The article focuses on the management of bacterial eye infections through the proper use of anti-infectives and antibiotic-steroid combination agents for eye protection. It examines the most common types of eye bacterial infection including conjunctivitis, blepharitis and keratitis. It discusses the most common causative organisms, clinical findings, pathogenesis, and general management strategies for each of these infections. The advancement of antibiotic therapies is also explored.
