      The article presents the text of the commencement address by U.S. President Barack Obama delivered at the Memphis Cook Convention Center to the graduates of Booker T. Washington High School in Memphis, Tennessee on May 16, 2011. He cited the efforts of the school authorities to improve the culture of learning in the school. He shared that education is a means to improve lives, to realize that value of discipline and hard work is a victory of the person against all adversities.
