Power in Collaboration.

The author discusses the efforts of the United Nations (UN) Foundation to meet the Millennium Development Goals (MDG) set by the United Nations (UN). The MDG include eradicating extreme poverty and hunger, promoting gender equality and empower women and addressing human immunodeficiency virus (HIV)/acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS). He points out that the only organization with the global reach and reputation to spearhead the MDG is the UN. The keys to the success of work toward the MDG realized by the UN Foundation are also cited. He stresses the important role of partners in the partnerships sponsored by the UN Foundation.
