      The article examines the situation of investigative journalism in Poland. It acknowledges the fact that most Polish journalists do self-censorship or little investigative work because of political and economic pressures. An example of this censorship is the lack of importance given by Polish media to investigate the plane crash that killed Polish President Lech Kaczynski and his entourage on April 10, 2010. It also mentions the lack of good journalistic education as a factor in the slow development of investigative journalism.
