    • Abstract:
The article discusses the expected significance of ethnic votes in the Canadian general election to be held on May 2, 2011. It says that campaign strategists from the major political parties aim for the support of the ethnic communities. It tells that the members of the Conservative Party were able to incur extra posts in Lower Mainland, B.C. in 2008 via strong ethnic support. It adds that Canadian ethnic communities include the Indo-Canadians, the Chinese-Canadians, and the Filipino-Canadians.
