The author emphasizes the ineffectiveness of time management trainings, books, websites and other tools as people do not look for the root cause of time management problems. It is his opinion that the causes of troubles in responding to emails are inability to differentiate the levels of urgency, rewarding face time over real production and insufficiency of service level agreements. Instead of using email, smartphones and office software, he recommends training the people with the basic principle about time management and functions of advanced software.
