    • Abstract:
The author argues that the threat of cyberterrorism is exaggerated, and provides several reasons why this is so, including the fact that terrorists seek publicity for their atrocities, so a terrorist attack which could be viewed as a mere technical inconvenience is unlikely to have the desired effect. Cyberattacks in Estonia in 2007, and the Stuxnet cyberattack on Iranian nuclear facilities in 2010 are discussed in this context.
