The article discusses the consolidation of publisher and platform in the information marketplace, to address concerns on access and navigation of library resources. Resources and systems that facilitate discovery and management of information are to be provided to allow access to patrons. ProQuest Information and Learning was acquired by Cambridge Information Group in 2006, resulting in an effort to bring in one platform, the information assets of the new entity, ProQuest, LLC.
