- Abstract:
The article focuses on the increase of violations made by trucking companies in the U.S. to the Canadian immigration and cabotage law. Fleet executives agreed about the presence of doubt that U.S. drivers and equipment are used by U.S. carriers to haul freight within Canada. David Bradley, chief executive officer (CEO) of the Canadian Trucking Alliance (CTA), notes the need of drivers to be permitted to reposition their own equipment from point to point in a foreign country.
