- Abstract:
The article describes the Quilmes community in Argentina based on the ruins left by this civilization in the Calchaquí Valley. Information is presented on the construction of the dwellings of the Quilmes as evidenced by the archaeological remains. The Quilmes civilization cultivated beans, potatoes, peanuts, peppers and squash in platforms on the hills. They also constructed a dam for containing the water for drinking and irrigation.
