    • Abstract:
The article offers information on the efforts of the U.S. Republican Congress to bar the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) from imposing regulation of greenhouse gases (GHGs). The House Subcommittee on Energy and Power held the first hearing on a bill, The Energy Tax Prevention Act, on February 9, 2011, aimed at blocking GHGs regulations.
